Drivers can choose from three charging options, including charging in public with a 150 kW fast-charging system to reach 80% charge in about 30 minutes^, or plugging into a wall box or socket at home. You’ll experience complete peace of mind with Toyota’s battery reliability. The battery will still be able to attain 90% of its original performance after 10 years.

With Toyota bZ4X, travel for up to 317 miles* without having to worry about recharging. * Range may vary with selected vehicle and grade.
Where can I charge?
Recharging is flexible with these three options: Rapid public chargers are mostly found in public car parks and service stations; they can reach 80% charge in around 30 minutes^ using a 150 kW charging system. Another option is wall boxes which can be installed at home or found in public car parks and even at workplaces. Or simply plug into a normal wall socket.
How do I charge my Toyota bZ4X?
Charging is simple, convenient and perfectly safe using the cable provided with the vehicle whether via a domestic socket, wall box or rapid public charger.
How long does charging take?
Vehicle charging time depends on the power supply. At rapid public charge points, you can charge in around 30 minutes^. Wall box charging at home takes between 6.5* - 10 hours. *With 11kW wall box.
What's the difference between a hybrid and electric car?
Hybrids and electric cars have a key difference. At Toyota we offer self-charging and plug-in hybrids, a hybrid switches between petrol and electric power, and pure electric power, whereas a battery electric vehicle runs on battery power alone and creates zero emissions when driving.
What is the lifespan of the battery?
